We are pleased to announce that EHS Program of Studies for the 2016-2017 school year has been published online. It contains the official listing of approved high school courses of study for EHS students.
In our continuing effort to ensure a safe and welcoming environment at the Essex Community Educational Center, some significant changes have been made to Educational Drive in front of Essex High School.
Starting January 2016 Essex High School is going green! We will no longer send out report cards through the mail. All student reports and schedules will be available online through Powerschool Portal.
Unified Sports is an initiative that combines approximately equal numbers of Special Olympics athletes and athletes without disabilities (called Partners) on sports teams for training and competition. This program empowers students to engage as a team through the power of sports.
Course registration for next spring is happening now! Semester & full-year classes, hundreds of course subjects with Standard, Honors and AP levels. If you work well independently, have good time-management skills and enjoy a challenge, VHS might be an option you want to explore.

On Oct. 26th the library will host Jeremy Sibold, UVM Assoc. Professor and Department Chair of Rehabilitation & Movement Sciences, for a discussion about careers in the physical therapy field. He will be joined by EHS’ very own Leo LaBonte who will speak to students about athletic training. The talks will take place at 10:50-11:20.

EHS 9th grade and 12th grade students will not be attending school this day. PSAT (11 grade) and Pre ACT (10 grade) testing begins at 8:00 and will conclude between 11:15 and 11:30.
Friday, October 7 at 7 pm in the Library. Come hear incredible performances from EHS`s best solo musicians while enjoying coffee or tea in the Library. Admission is free (donations are appreciated). Performers can sign up with Mr. Stokes in F107.
