We are pleased to announce that EHS Program of Studies for the 2016-2017 school year has been published online. It contains the official listing of approved high school courses of study for EHS students.
Starting January 2016 Essex High School is going green! We will no longer send out report cards through the mail. All student reports and schedules will be available online through Powerschool Portal.
Course registration for next spring is happening now! Semester & full-year classes, hundreds of course subjects with Standard, Honors and AP levels. If you work well independently, have good time-management skills and enjoy a challenge, VHS might be an option you want to explore.

On Wednesday, December 14, Ben Powers, Game Changer from Vital Leadership Coaching, will present an interactive session during which students will be working in groups to learn about leadership and how Vital Leadership Coaching works.. The event will take place in the library at 10:50-11:20.

Essex High School won the Pre-Holiday Academic Tournament in South Burlington on Friday night (December 2), capturing the largest Scholars’ Bowl competition in New England.

Winter Concert @ 07:00PM
The concert will feature a wide variety of winter selections and holiday favorites performed by the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Chamber Choir, Concert Choir, Essex Jazz Orchestra, Essex Jazz Junction, Kaleidoscope and Pitch Pipes. Admission is free; donations are greatly appreciated.
Morning Enrichment Program @ 08:00AM
ENROLLMENT CLOSED Children between the ages of two and five are welcome to join us for FREE. Sessions will be held on December 9, 15, and 19, from 8-11 AM at EHS (parents and children will be greeted in main lobby). Children will participate in circle time, arts and science activities, as well as traditional gross motor and play activities. Snacks will be provided. Each day is designed and led by the Child Psychology & Child Development students.
